Biographies
Lucas - I am a grade 11 student in Kelowna BC, and my interests include : Music, Computers, Physics, and Cross Country Running. I play both the Electric and Upright Bass, and enjoy drawing cartoons. After I complete my post-secondary education, I plan to pursue a career in Computers or Physics (maybe both).
Christopher - My name is Christopher Papke. I am in Grade 11 at Kelowna Secondary School. I am enrolled in honours courses in math, chemistry, and physics. My interests lie with computer science and programming. My goal is to pursue a degree in Computer Science. I am on the school badminton and cross country running teams and am an avid reader. In Grade 8 I obtained the highest mark in the school on the Gauss Math Contest and last year I placed first in my school in the Caley Math contest. I play saxophone for the school concert and jazz bands as well as sing in the school chamber choir, both of which recently received a gold standing at the BC Interior Jazz Festival. I am studying for my Grade 5 piano exam having received a first place standing and the highest mark in the Okanagan for my Grade 4 piano exam.

How Brain Activity Alters Our Perception of Time

Abstract:Our project studies how brain activity alters our perception of time. We designed four tests that changed activity in different lobes of the brain. Participants performed the tests and estimated how long they thought each test was. We were then able to see how these different tests altered the participants perception of time.
