Biography
My name is Greg Farrell. I am in grade 9 at Gorsebrook Junior High School. I am the middle of three brothers. I have always been an athletic person and have participated in many different sports. At the moment, I compete nationally in gymnastics which takes up alot of my time and does not allow for very many other sports/ hobbies. I am also a fairly musical. This was my first science fair experience and I am really looking forward to it. I plan to go to university after high school but am not sure of any career plans quite yet.

Abstract:The purpose of this innovation was to produce and store energy from the movement of walking. the most common problem for small-scale electronics is that they run out of batteries on the run. My innovation solves this. I designed and created a passive generator and applied it to a circuit I designed leading to a USB port. The objectives were met and expectations exceeded.
