Hi, my name is Melissa Richardson and I am a grade 7 student at East Wiltshire School in Prince Edward Island. I have always been interested in science, especially concerning health issues. I have participated in 4 provincial fairs and was very proud to win first place twice! My dream job would be working as a scientist to discover a cure for diseases such as cancer. Besides science, my interests include sports, music and traveling. I love to run and last year won provincial titles for cross country and track and field but soccer is my favorite sport of all! This year I made the PEI Under-13 all-star provincial soccer team and I can’t wait to go to Newfoundland this summer to play in the Atlantics. When I am not busy with sports I enjoy playing the piano at home or the flute in my school band. Time with my family is very special to me, and nothing made me more excited as last years trip to Disney World. Swimming with Lester the dolphin at Discovery Cove was the greatest moment of all! |
