Biography
I am Aaron Zidichouski. I was born on April 17, 1990 in Edmonton, Alberta. I moved to Calgary in 1992, and then to Prescott, Arizona in 1998. In 2000, I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, and in 2004, to Charlottetown, PEI. I enjoy drwing, writing, sciences, skiing and snowboarding (especially in Utah at Snowbird Ski Resort). I take Shotokan karate, and I enjoy playing rugby at my present high school, Charlottetown Rural. I enjoy making things and am looking into engineering as a career. I have recently been in the Sanofi-Aventis Biotech Challenge, and won Second Place. Provincial science fair was a lot of fun, and I look foward to competing in the Canada-wide Science Fair.

Neuroprotection of L-Theanine in an In-Vitro Stroke Model

Abstract:An in-vitro stroke model was created to test L-theanine (an active ingredient in Japanese Green Tea). L-theanine was being tested for its neuroprotective effects on the brain, and a proper model had to be created to quickly and effectively screen the substance for its neuroprotective ability.
