| My name is Michael Webster. I am twelve years old. I live in Toronto. I come from a family of four boys, two parents and a dog. I began my education in the French Immersion program at Toronto public school, Lester B. Pearson. Since Grade 5, I have attended Upper Canada College. I am currently in Grade 7, and in both first and second terms, I have maintained an academic average over 85% (Honours with Distinction). Last year, I won the French Award and Creative Writing Awards for Grade 6. This year my extracurricular activities include: serving as Red House Captain in my school, participating on my House debating team, playing percussion in the Grade 7 band and taking drum lessons every Thursday. I am also very active in sports, having played on school teams in hockey, rugby, soccer and baseball. I look forward to playing football and lacrosse at the Upper School. I also play hockey on the Greater Toronto Hockey League’s Markham Majors Minor Bantam AAA team, the highest level for competitive hockey in my age group. I am an Assistant Captain on my team. My future goals include becoming a Page in the Ontario Legislative Page Program. |
