Biographies
Hilary - My name is Hilary Angidlik. I was born and raised in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. I have 3 sisters, I am the oldest of 4. I enjoy reading, helping others, poetry, biology and the outdoors, I also like fishing and hunting. I've won an English award in grade 9. After I graduate, I want to go to University and study Political Science, Im interested in politics.
Sinead - I'm Sinead Anderson. I'm sixteen years old. I'm currently in tenth grade. I was born in Yellowknife, NWT, but I've been living in Rankin Inlet, NU for the past seven years. I'm the eldest of four girls. I have a part time job. I enjoy reading, listening to music, drawing, watching movies, and being outdoors. When I graduate from high school, I am planning on getting into a good university and studying to become either a lawyer or a psychologist.

Impact of Microwaves on Plant Growth

Abstract:The purpose of our project was to determine if microwaves affect the germination and growth of plants. Our controls were treated with boiled water while all other plants were treated with microwaved water. Results during this experiment showed no significant growth differences in plants treated with microwaved or boiled water. We have concluded that microwaved water does not significantly affect plant germination or growth.
