Biography
Hi! I am 14 years old, live in Dundas, Ontario, and I am the second of four kids in my family--I have 2 brothers, and 1 younger sister. I was born in Canada but I lived in the middle east in the UAE for 3 years and that was really interesting. I am in grade 8 at Hillfield Strathallan College, and I am very active in my school--I am a House Captain, and I play clarinet in the concert band, and tenor saxophone in the jazz band. I also play field hockey and volleyball at school, and house league hockey most winters. My favourite interest is Ballet, and when I'm not at school I am at National Ballet School in Toronto. I have been very fortunate to dance in "Giselle" and "The Nutcracker" in Hamilton with the National Ballet of Cuba, and I have been in the National Ballet of Canada's Nutcracker in Toronto for 2 years. I am excited about visiting France this summer to practice my French, and joining my brother at high school in the fall! I am also excited about presenting my project in Winnipeg!

Abstract:Are video games good or bad? Studies have suggested that surgeons who play video games make less errors in surgery. 33 students completed a questionnaire, then used laparascopic instruments to play a game. Results showed game times were fastest in players with the highest number of video game hours. Gender, hand dominance, musical experience and other extra-curricular activity using hand-eye coordination did not improve scores.
