Biography
My name is Skyler Haugen. I am 13 years old and in grade 7. I go to school in the small town of Wakaw Saskatchewan. I live with my dad, mom, sister, and my dog. I like to play in a lot of competitive team sports. Some of the sports I play are: hockey, fastball, badminton, volleyball, and football. I am a fastball pitcher and played on a team that entered provincials last year. It was at this tournament that I pitched my first no-hitter. My hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, biking, inline skating, skateboarding, and hanging out with friends. Last fall I went on my first deer hunt and shot my a whitetailed deer. It was a 4x4 buck that scored 131 Boone and Crocket. I haven't decided on a career but it will probably do with animals, archeology, or forensics. I plan to go to the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. This is my first year in science fair. My hard work paid off when I won regionals and I am proud to represent my school at Peterborough at the Canada Wide Science Fair.

City:Wakaw, SK
School:Wakaw
Abstract:Every fingerprint is unique and no two are the same. I wanted to determine if fingerprint patterns are inherited from parents to children. I expanded my project to find out if one parent passed on their fingerprint patterns more frequently.
