| My name is Heba Elgubtan. I’m a grade eight student at College Churchill High School. I’m a member of a humanitarian initiative at our school called peace LEARNERS. Our goal is adopt a village in Sierra Leone and support the people with clean water, education, sanitation and a way for them to create their own incomes. I’ve been competing in Taekwondo since I was three years of age. My goal is to compete in the Olympics as a Taekwondo athlete. For my post secondary education, my goal is to pursue in the medical field. After I complete my post secondary education, I would like to specialize in Gyne and become a Gyne physian. On creating my project I was inspired by a news story that spread all over the nation. It was the banning of Wi-Fi from two schools in Ontario. I found this story very easy to relate to in today’s society. My advice for anyone planning on competing in a science fair is to choose a topic you’re interested in and find a way to make it an innovation, experiment or a study. Do as much research as you can and understand the topic inside-out. Never give up! |

This type of internet is used by millions of people worldwide. This wireless internet causes extreme side effects like, severe rashes, chronic migraines and slower brain development. Many schools across the nation have chosen to withdraw from their Wi-Fi connection. A double-blind experiment was conducted to see if Wi-Fi really has an effect on youth. |
