Biography
My name is Krishshain Nathan. I am a grade eight honors student. I go to King's Edge-hill School in Windsor, NS. I like to swim, play soccer, and ski. I volunteer at a nursing home every Monday and at a hospital on Saturdays. My hobbies are painting, sculpting and playing video games. My main interest in school is the science of the human body. I am planning to become a surgeon. In 2012 I got a first place ribbon at my school science fair and was qualified to go to the regional science fair for my project the "Musical Water Fountain". This year (2013) I got second place in my school science fair and I am going to nationals! My inspiration for my project the "Automatic CPR Device" came when my class took a CPR course. After I saw my classmates do mistakes and get tired after a few seconds, I created this device to perform better CPR with little human effort. Further improvements include adding a breathing apparatus to do the breathing. The best advice I could give to someone doing a project is never give up, anything is possible because science is endless.
