| Tobias Williams lives in Dundas, Ontario and goes to Dundas District Public School. He enjoys playing soccer, swimming, skiing and plays the clarinet. This is his first time going to the Canada Wide Science Fair, but he competed last year in the BASEF regional science fair and won a silver merit award. He currently does not know what post secondary education or career he wishes to pursue, but is interested in the science and technology field. |

All materials for the fixed radius tether design failed. In the variable radius tether design, a successful configuration was obtained with all materials, but only carbon nanotubes were a practical choice. |
