| Biography –Matt Girgis is a Grade 8 student at Oakville Christian School and he lives in Toronto, Ontario. He participates in numerous school activities and he has many hobbies and interests. He recently won the first place award in a regional competition for men’s singles in badminton. His hobbies include playing road hockey and ping-pong, listening to music, or playing PSP. On top of his school work, he plays on the soccer, basket-ball, and badminton teams. His goal in life is to be an engineer or a soccer pro. He plans on going to King’s Christian Collegiate for a high school education, and later to University of Toronto for his university education. One of his very notable experiences in life was going to CWSF. |

The purpose of this experiment was to improve oxygen and humidity levels, as well as reducing airborne microbes and VOC chemicals by using plants. In conclusion, plants do not affect the level of oxygen in the air, but they do increase humidity. Airborne microbes are increased by having plants in a room. |
