Abstract:My project is about airfoils and the amount of lift and drag they create. I designed and built a wind tunnel to perform my experiment. Airfoils produce different amounts of lift and drag depending on their shape, airspeed and incidence. the wind tunnel has two scales that measure the amount of lift and drag that each airfoil produces, and a third scale to indicate airspeed.
