Patheogenic Bacterial Elimination:Bact. Lysis Through the Appl. of Muramidase
Division:Biotechnology / None
Category:Junior
Region:Bay Area
City:Acton, ON
School:St. Joseph
Abstract:The purpose of this experiment is to determine if powdered muramidase can kill bacteria through lysis. A null hypothesis was formulated, but the resulting evidence refuted the null-hypothesis, in that there was a positive association between bacterial growth rate and the amount of muramidase the bacteria was exposed to.
