Biographie
My name is Marisa Price, and I am in 7th grade at Trafalgar Middle School, Nelson, BC. My interests are varied. I enjoy math and science and I love to read. I enjoy field hockey (I am the co-captain of my team), skiing, hiking, kayaking, and camping with my family and friends. This is my first trip to Montreal (actually this is my first trip out of BC!) and I am so excited about the chance to be a part of this big event. In the future, I would like to become a marine biologist, but perhaps I will see some really amazing projects that will influence me to keep my options open. I believe that this experience at the Canada Wide will be an amazing opportunity.

Sommaire:This fall, our school replaced all paper towel dispensers with air dryers. The hand dryers are not heated, and I questioned whether my hands were clean. The purpose of my initial experiment was to find out if there was a difference between paper towel and the dryers. I used a number of variables and compared washrooms within the school and was surprised by the results.
