My name is Jordan Duhart and I am in grade 7 at G.C. Rowe Junior High in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. I am in the school band and play the saxaphone. My favorite sports are downhill skiing, cross country skiing, golf and karate. I currently have a brown belt, third stripe in karate and hope someday to have a black belt. Over the years I have accumulated several medals from karate competitions. A special accomplishment of mine that I am proud of is that I won a Aboriginal Heritage Award in our Regional Heritage fair for doing a project on my great great grandfather Mathew Mitchell, a famous micmac Indian. I like school and my favorite subjects are math and science. This is my first National Science fair. I think I would like to pursue a career in Engineering because I like building things. |
