| My name is Omar El Kateeb and I am an eighth grade student at the An Noor private school in Windsor, Ontario. I participate in many of my school’s activities such as English speech contests, bake sales, fundraisers, and more! Some of my hobbies include computer games and sports. I have had many achievements such as winning in the top English speech at my school four times in a row, as well as winning medals in the Windsor Regional Science fair since fifth grade. I hope to enter medical school in the future. |

I wanted to determine whether cooking acidic foods in aluminum pots and foil will cause aluminum to leach into the foods, thereby possibly contributing to a person’s intake of aluminum, which may lead to negative health consequences. |
