Biographies
Allison - I am currently 13 years old, and I am in the International Baccalaureate Program at W.G Davis Senior Public School in Brampton, Ontario. I do many school related activities, such as band and choir, and I also play soccer and figure skate. In my spare time, I like to spend time with friends and family, read and listen to music. I would like to go to university after I finish high school, possibly as a doctor, because I enjoy helping people in need. I have won many awards in figure skating, a second place at the Brampton spelling bee, a citizenship award and first place at both the school science fair and the regional science fair with my current project, Shocking Growth.
Kristen - My name is Kristen Crane and I am a fourteen year old girl, currently attending W.G Davis Senior Public School in the International Baccalaureate Program. I am involved in many extra curricular activities during my school days including various sports teams and the yearbook committee. My Hobbies include, playing basketball, reading, acting, writing and playing my tenor saxophone. I have won many sports and academic awards throughout my life including the Larry Street Literacy Award in my elementary years and the Junior Think Bowl of 2005. I plan on pursuing my love of writing, and perhaps get involved in a journalism career.

Sommaire:For our science fair project we connected three different voltages of electricity to three different types of plants over a two week period. We concluded that corn grew more quickly as more electricity was added, while the peas and radishes decreased in growth as more electricity was added. The University of Guelph is interested in our results and would like to replicate our experiment.
