| Over the past couple of years, I have been participating in the science fair. I have a thirst for knowledge and education. In 2006, I was one of two students to get honors with distinction among forty-two students. I am also expecting to receive the Edmonton Muslim Achievement Awards Night (EMAAN) Science Award this year. I have been a part of many activities including the campaign of Mayor Bill Smith’s re-election. In addition, I was the runner-up for my school’s student council election in 2006. I hope to have a career in either medicine or pediatrics. I enjoy playing a variety of sports including figure skating, soccer and badminton. Last but not least, I look for moments to spend with my family and friends. |

Are We Genetically Different From Other Species?

The proteins’ sequences are compared using multiple alignment and phylogenetic analyses. It is concluded that the distinctive forms come from those proteins which make structure, cognitive, and other functions. |
