Biographie
One of my unusual traits is the diversity of my interests and studies. While I am obviously passionate about science and math, I also value languages and social sciences, as well as performing arts. At my school I am able to maintain a schedule with advanced courses in both arts and sciences, and I will continue this next year as I study at Marianopolis College in the Arts and Sciences program. My primary activity throughout high school has been debating, and this year I placed top speaker in Quebec, 4th at North Americans and 5th at the Canadian National Championships. I have also performed every year in the school musical and I am the senior editor of the digital yearbook. I have had the opportunity to travel frequently in high school, participating in cultural exchanges to France and Italy, as well as debating trips to England and other cities across Canada. I am currently representing my school and my school board as a finalist at the Montreal Board of Trade Outstanding Student Awards. Participating in the Science Fair has integrated many of my passions, for meeting and sharing ideas with new people, for speaking and presenting, and for scientific exploration.

Sommaire:The project was designed to measure the effects visual stimuli have on a population tendency to behave prosocially. Research has suggested that both egoistic and altruistic concerns might motivate cooperative behavior. Photographs were designed to foster each of these concerns, and their impacts on peoples actions were measured empirically.
