Biographie
My name is Mike. I was born in Edmonton, Alberta, on June 27, 1994. We moved to Windsor, Ontario when I was 2 1/2 years old, then moved to Oakville where we lived for 9 years. I am a 13 year old student in grade 8 at M.T. Davidson Public school in Callander, Ontario. I'm on the honour roll at school. My favourite subjects are math, science and gym (of course). I really like sports. I was captain of our school basketball, soccer, and volleyball teams. I play house league hockey in the winter, and golf and soccer during the summer. My family moved to North Bay last summer. I am looking forward to enjoying all the water sports involved with living on Lake Nipissing, such as fishing, water skiing and tubing, and boating. When I grow up, I would like to pursue a career in engineering, architecture, or professional golfer. I have applied to a science and technology wireless programme in high school. I am looking forward to my first year of high school, and to participating in this science fair.

Ice Ace
Division:Sciences de la santé / Innovation environnementale
Catégorie:Junior
Région:North Bay
Ville:Callander, ON
École:M.T. Davidson P.S.
Sommaire:My invention is called the Ice Ace. It is a homemade Zamboni. It is made of PVC pipe in a “T” design that squirts out water onto a towel that drags along the ice to smooth out a backyard ice rink or pond. All you have to do is connect it to a garden hose or into the water backpack and you’re ready to go.
