Biographie
My name is Dhanuddara Mohottalage, and I am in grade 10 at Longfields Davidson Heights Secondary School, Ottawa. Currently, in school I partake in extra curricular activities such as badminton, soccer, public speaking and cultural dancing. My favorite sports are badminton and soccer. In grade 9, I played for the junior girls soccer team as our team placed second in the City-wide championships. I also played doubles for in the N.C.S.S.A tournaments of badminton in grade 9 and 10; we placed second in the junior division. Furthermore, public speaking has been one of my strongest ways of connecting to the public. I have participated in various french public speaking presentations as I made it to the Ottawa District Board competitions. To guard the values of my cultural backgrounds, I practice a cultural dance of Sri Lanka; Kandyan Dancing. I enjoy Kandyan dancing as the rhythm and the movements are succinct and gives me a sense of pride. Other than my extra curricular activities, I also enjoy being at school and my favorite subjects include science, math, visual arts and physical education. Moreover, last year I was a silver medal recipient who obtained over 90% average in all my subjects.

Sommaire:Biofuels comes from a biomass and is a renewable energy resource. They are manufactured mainly from vegetable oils. Although the production of Biofuels is from vegetable oils, it has not been extended to coconut oil which is known to have higher levels of saturated fatty acids. I discovered throughout testings, that coconut oil is a better alternative fuel as it has higher combustion efficiency.
