| Tamiz Ibrahim is an energetic and enthusiastic young man. Currently, he is attending John G Diefenbaker High School and is in grade 11. Tamiz is the Charities Chair on school Students' Council and is an active member of Mayor Youth Council and is formerly a Vice President of Finance for Edge Gaming Inc. In addition, Tamiz has been an active and successful participant at the Calgary Youth Science Fair since 2001. Tamiz was chosen to represent Calgary at the National Science Fair held in Vancouver in 2005. As a result of this, he attended the Alberta Science Foundation Showcase in Edmonton and presented his project to the Minister of Science and Technology: Mr.Victor Doerksen, the Honourable Peter Lougheed, Premier Ralph Klein and Mayor Dave Bronconnier. In 2006, he was awarded the National Association of Corrosion Engineers trophy along with the Canadian Institute of Mining And Metallurgy a gold medal and a scholarship. Tamiz was awarded the Alberta Centennial Medal for outstanding youth leadership. He was the Student of the Year at the Ismaili Students Total Achievement and Recognition Ceremony. Tamiz enjoys public speaking and when he can, ’just chillin in the pool n playing pool.’ |

I used potentiodynamic polarization curve measurement as an electrochemical method to determine the corrosion mechanism and rate of metal metamorphosis in the given solution. |
