Biography
My name is Brad Miller and I am a grade 10 student at Catholic Central High School in Lethbridge, Alberta. This is my second year in a row competing in the Canada Wide Science Fair. I enjoy the practical side of science; creating projects that solve every day problems. My other interests include playing competetive golf, reading and spending time with friends. My greatest accomplishments as a golfer were placing 5th at the Alberta Bantam Championships last year and scoring a hole-in-one while playing with my brother and grandfather. I enjoy working out at the local gym and pool with my family three times every week. It keeps my mind sharp. Like so many young people, I was drawn in by the Harry Potter novels right from the beginning. I anxiously await the release of the movie "The Order of the Pheonix" and the concluding novel, "The Deathly Hollows." A part time job at the local Tim Horton's keeps me busy with the rest of my time. I am honored to be participating in the CWSF again this year. The experience is one I will never forget.

Category:Intermediate
Region:Lethbridge
City:Lethbridge, AB
School:Catholic Central High School
Abstract:This project expands on findings from the previous year. As a virtually odor free and easily produced organic fertilizer, llama tea has already proven to be an excellent alternative to chemically based fertilizers. Garden vegetables and ornamental house plants were grown. One set was fertilized with miracle grow and the other with llama tea. Comparisons were made using eighteen different performance measurements.
