Biographies
Brandon - My name is Brandon Joseph Courchene. I am 13 years old and I enjoy playing the sport lacrossse. I come from a family of 5, 2 brothers, my parents and me. On my spare time I enjoy a nice nice long nap or play ground hockey outside with friends. I also enjoy drawing and making my own cartoon characters. I like traveling to other places where I have never been. I won a logo contest in my community for Maternal Health. I am a very fine artist. I like listening to rock and roll music, a little bit country and some pop music. I am a square dancer and I also do the Jig dance. I have a fear of very deep water. I won 2 medals for my dance competitions.
Cody - My name is Cody Michael Courchene Guimond. Im 15 years of age. I like to play sports. I play hockey and lacrosse. I have a big family there are 8 of us in my family including me. I have 1 nephew and 1 niece. I live with my parents in a First Nation Community of Sagkeeng First Nation, Manitoba. I play hockey for Sagkeeng Hawks and play lacrosse with Team Ojibway. At the end of July, I will be going to British Columbia to play at the North American Indiginous Games. We will be going to Victoria Island and I will play for the Nationals Team Manitoba.

Abstract:The project that we have chosen was The Effect of Automation on Wild Rice. The project was to find out if automated boats (airboats) or non-automated boats (canoes) had an effect on the crops of the wild rice. We found out that the airboats (automated) left some extensive damage to the crops.
