Biography
I am a Grade 8 student at Gilbert Paterson Middle School in Lethbridge, Alberta. This is my first entry to a Science Fair. I play alto saxophone in band and play violin as well. I like anything that involves folding paper like origami and paper airplanes. In my spare time, I play badminton and read fiction novels. I recently obtained my SCUBA certification and I am looking forward to diving again. After high school, I want to go to university to become an engineer.

The World's Best Paper Airplane: A Test
Division:Health Sciences / None
Category:Junior
Region:Lethbridge
City:Lethbridge, AB
School:Gilbert Paterson Middle School
Abstract:There are numerous "World's Best" paper airplanes. I tested four of these with two others to determine which was the best for flight duration and distance. I identified factors that the planes in each category had in common. The Dragon was the best long distance flier due to its wing load, wing angle and wing smoothness. The Classic Airplane flew for the longest time.
