Biography
Hi, I'm Aysar Younes, a 14 year old currently residing in Trenton, ON and attend school at Albert College. I was born in Chicago, Il and am an American citizen, that is a landed immigrant of Canada, with Palestinian roots. I am a very busy person, and split up my time between academics, athletics and the arts, 3 things that Albert College prides itself in. I take pride in my academics very much, and take it seriously. I always give my all knowing that education is the gateway to my future. I consider myself very athletic, and am involved in soccer, track, and basketball in school, and rep soccer, rep hockey, basketball and football out of school. Lastly, in the arts, I have picked up Guitar and am looking to improve in that. Throughout these 3, I have over 30 trophies, 60 medals, 10 plaques, and many ribbons as a result of my hard work. I have many notable experiences traveling, and have traveled all over, stopping in North, Central, and South America, Europe, Asia, and am expecting a stop in Africa this summer. I plan to continue to improve project and I wish all contestants luck this year.

Algae: The Biofuel of the Future?
Challenge:Energy
Category:Intermediate
Region:Quinte
City:Trenton, ON
School:Albert College
Abstract:My project was approached both experimentally and studiously. Experimentally, my objective was to find out which of Chlorella Vulgaris and Chlamydomanas Rheinhardii had a higher lipid content ratio. Studiously, my objective was to be able to use the statistics collected in my studies, as well as those from others, to be able to determine if algae biofuel would be a viable replacement to other fuels.
