Abstract:Benford’s Law states that more numbers in the world start with the digit 1 than the digit 2, and more with the digit 2 than with the digit 3, and so on. This project innovatively used Benford’s Law as a test for randomness and concluded that Pick 3 lottery is a totally random, computer random number generator, because it did not follow Benford’s Law.
