| My name is Derek Ling, and I am 14 years old. I'm in the 9th grade and go to Dr. Knox Middle School in Kelowna, BC. I like to play basketball and have been in a basketball league called the "Legends". Some of my hobbies are hanging out with friends, playing guitar, and of course, playing basketball. I've been to the Canada-Wide Science Fair in Vancouver(2005), as well as the one in Saguaney, Quebec(2006). After high school, I plan on going to University, but I havn't decided what I want to be when I get older. |

Mysteries of Life: Phylogenetic Analysis of mRNA & Protein

This was performed for both mRNA and protein bases. From doing this, we can determine the similarities in external and internal functions of the body through homologistic analysis. |
