Your Solution To Lawnmower Pollution
Division:Engineering & Computing Sciences / Automotive
Category:Junior
Region:Greater Vancouver
City:Vancouver, BC
School:Point Grey Secondary
Abstract:Though it may not seem like it, gas lawnmowers are a significant source of pollution. My project’s purpose is to reduce these emissions via the approach of using a catalyst or by changing the fuel mixture used in the gas lawnmower. I measured the CO2 emissions from different Ethanol/Gasoline fuel mixtures with a titration process and I measured the other emissions with a gas analyzer.
