Detecting Stares: More Than Coincidence?
Division:International
Category:Intermediate
Region:Central Alberta
City:Olds, AB
School:Olds Junior Senior High School
Abstract:This project studied if the ability to detect stares was more than coincidence or simply chance. An experiment was developed to test whether differences in age and gender affect the subject’s ability to perceive that their partner is staring at them. Females were found to be statistically significant in their ability to sense that they were being stared at.
