Biography
I am a Grade 8 French Immersion student at École New Era in Brandon, Manitoba. Along with school sports like basketball, volleyball, soccer and badminton, I play hockey. I also like to golf, ski, swim and race go-carts in the “Kiwanis Kar Derby”. I play the violin in the Suzuki Junior Orchestra at the Brandon University School of Music. I also play the euphonium in the school band and the alto saxophone in the jazz band. I am looking forward to attending high school next year.

Vitamin D Gone Viral?

Abstract:This project studied the effect of Vitamin D on viruses. Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV) symptoms were recorded on tomato plants grown in TMV infected soil and watered with Vitamin D3 solution. There were less symptoms in plants watered with Vitamin D3 indicating an effect on the growth of the Tobacco Mosaic Virus. Symptoms continued to decrease as the amount of Vitamin D increased.
