Biography
My name is Kaden Zmeko. I am 13 years old and live in Lethbridge Alberta. I am attending Gilbert Paterson Middle School and currently in 7th grade. Some of my hobbies and interests are: radio control, photography, videography, the environment and science. I have entered in school science fairs ever since I was in grade 1, and have been very fortunate to have placed first in many. This year with no science fair at my school, I entered our regional fair and placed first in Grade 7. Most exciting of all, I was selected to attend the Canada Wide Science Fair, 2014 in Windsor Ontario! The inspiration for my project this year comes from my interest in renewable energy sources and finding new ways to save energy. For anybody who has ever thought about completing a science project, my advice would be “Just do it”! It doesn’t matter if you place or win, it’s only important that you tried and hopefully had fun and learned some exciting new concepts in the process.
