Biography
I am Abhigyan Dabla. I go to Devon Gardens Elementary, Delta, BC. I love maths and science. I also like soccer, hockey, and cricket. I wish to become a physicist/scientist when I grow up. I have a couple of awards in science at school, districts and regional levels. I also have some awards in sports. I made this project (EMR) because I thought that this was a real life crisis and normal people are not aware of this. My plans are to see/discover how to block radiation to prevent harm to the community. If I were to give advice to a student on science fair it would be to do what they are passionate about. For students that want to excel, they should think why, when, where, who, what, and how. This is who I am and this is how I think.

Electromagnetic Radiation
Challenge:Health
Category:Junior
Region:South Fraser
City:DELTA, BC
School:Devon Gardens Elementary
Abstract:Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) is a form of radiant energy that consists of synchronised oscillations of electric and magnetic fields. Power lines, smart meters, cell phones etc all radiate EMR which potentially has ill effects on human health. The objective of this project is to understand how Faraday’s principle can be applied to shield the effect of these radiations.
