Biography
My name is Ghufran Siddiqui, I am 14 years old. I attend school at Northern Collegiate Institute & Vocational School, in Sarnia, ON. This is my third year entering the local science fair and was very excited to find out that I would be going to the CWSF this year. Some of my interests are soccer, computer, science and music. I play the trumpet and am in the intermediate band my school. Also, at my school I am part of reach for the top, science club and MAC club (multicultural awareness club). Outside of school I play in a soccer league and help out at my local library. Other activities I participate in, besides science fair include volunteering at the local hospital and in the past I have tutored kids for a summer program. I want to be an accountant or some type of doctor when I grow up.

Abstract:This project focuses on a clean, renewable energy source, biogas. It talks about why biogas is a possible and practical source of energy. The project explains what biogas is, how it is formed and its applications. Using a model bio-digester calculations were made to determine how big a bio-digester would need to be in order to power an average Canadian household for the summer months.
