| Jennifer - My name is Jennifer Sedgwick. I was born July 18, 1993. I live in Stirling, Ontario, with my mom, dad and younger sister, Jessica. Stirling is the home town of NHL Players, Rob Ray and Matt Cooke. It has a population of 3400 and is a rural agricultural community, known as the "Little Village with the Big Heart". I currently attend Stirling Senior which consists of Grades 6, 7 and 8. I will attend Bayside Secondary in September. It is a unique school situtate on 200 acres between Belleville and the Trenton Air Base. It is my plan to purse my science studies and hopefully attend University pursuing a career in the medical field perhaps as a family phyisican. I think this would be a very rewarding career as you would always be helping others feel better. I have participated in Science Fair for the last 3 years and to be selected to attend CWSF 2007 has been a great honour. I also enjoy public speaking. In Grade 5, I received the Principals' Award for Student Leadership from the Ontario Principal's council. I enjoy most sports particularly volleyball. I also enjoy, music, singing and dance. | | Lexie - I am a grade eight student at Stirling Senior School. Stirling is a small town just north of Belleville, Ontario. I love sports and have played on many different school teams. I play league soccer in my town in the summer. I am a member of the Stirling Athletic Leadership Team (SALT) and currently help run an intermural badminton league at my school. Last year I received the Judith White award in recognition of outstanding citizenship, athletics, and academics. I participated in a public speaking competition at the local Legion this year. I enjoy English, geography and visual art. I like to travel with my family and my partner and I are very excited about our trip to Truro Nova Scotia to represent the Quinte region in the CWSF. |

Using a series of laminated colour cards we tested subjects’ ability to correctly rank the cards from most intense to least intense. We then used the data to make conclusions about age and gender differences in colour perception. |
