Biographie
My name is Jada Mielhausen. I am a grade 8 student and I attend Bruce Peninsula District School in Lion's Head, Ontario. In school I participate in all sports. I am the Secretary of our Elementary Student Council. I am a volunteer program assistant for the local Lion's Head skating club. I have participated in Science Fair for 5 years and this is my first Canada-Wide Science Fair.

Sommaire:Today there is more public awareness on the use of inorganic commercial fertilizers and their negative effects on the environment. This project tested different quantities of worm castings as a growing medium and the effect on plant growth. A natural organic alternative to a chemically based fertilizer was developed from worm castings and tested in four strengths against an inorganic commercial liquid fertilizer.
