| I am an IB year one student at Churchill Secondary. Among the academic subjects, I am strong in math and sciences. I like competitions of all sorts because of the excitement they offer. I have qualified for physics and math national olympiads. I got perfect score in Math 12 provincial exam in grade 9 and have once ranked 5th in North America in AMC 10. I have been a competitive swimmer for 5 years, and have qualified for BC provincials for 100m breasktroke several times. In the past years I have played on school's basketball team, community soccer team, and passed all skating levels. I have recently started to play flute (2 years ago) and am doing RCM grade 8. I joined military band, school band, and am auditioning for Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra this coming summer. I have volunteered twice at UBCMUN. In the future, I want to work in science and business. That is why I am going to Shad Valley this summer. My university goal is MIT |

From The Orthic Triangle

The main focus is the derivation of a formula relating the area of any acute triangle with side lengths of its orthic. Notable results include a purely geomertical proof of Fagnano's problem and a proof of Euler's Formula. |
