| Miguel Aroca-Ouellette Your Solution To Lawnmower Pollution
Division: | Engineering & Computing Sciences / Automotive | Category: | Junior | Region: | Greater Vancouver | City: | Vancouver, BC | School: | Point Grey Secondary | Abstract: | Though it may not seem like it, gas lawnmowers are a significant source of pollution. My project’s purpose is to reduce these emissions via the approach of using a catalyst or by changing the fuel mixture used in the gas lawnmower. I measured the CO2 emissions from different Ethanol/Gasoline fuel mixtures with a titration process and I measured the other emissions with a gas analyzer. |
