A passionate student, I am always eager to learn more about the world around me. What attracts my interest most is health, fitness, music, space, and the environment, as well as new ideas. When not delving into these areas, I enjoy being a devoted member of my school and community whether it is on such school committees as Student’s Council, Respect-Ed Anti-Bullying Club, and Art Club, or participating in charities like Terry Fox Run, Walk for MS, or volunteering for local recreation. My hobbies include playing soccer, reading, writing, and listening to music by Sarah Slean but above all, those “golden oldies”- The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Simon and Garfunkel, and many more. In the recent months I have experienced some of the most memorable occurrences of my life thus far. For instance, attending R.C.M.P. week at the Terry Fox Centre in Ottawa and “the ultimate school field trip” of a voyage to Paris, Provence and Barcelona. My future remains much undecided as I have a love for both the arts and sciences. Wherever it may lead me, I hope it does so in a manner that I can explore as much of the global community as possible. |

Vitamin C levels were determined by the endpoint of the titration in conjunction with chemical equations and calculations. I discovered the Vitamin C concentration of organically grown navel oranges is approximately 87% more than that of conventionally grown navel oranges. |
