Abstract:My project tests the antimicrobial properties of spices. I tested the various conditions under which spices exhibit their antimicrobial properties best. In conclusion, spices do have antimicrobial properties and they work best heated. Their spice oils worked better than the dried. A spice mixture was tested to see if it worked better than individual spices and it did. E.coli, enterococcus faecalis, and s.aureus were tested.
