| My name is Krista Deagle from Guysborough N.S. I am a 17 year old grade 11 student at Guysborough Academy. School is very important to me because I aspire to be a strong accomplished woman in the future. I demonstrate high academic performance as well as maintaining strong participation and dedication to school sports and other extra curricular activities. I have been a member of the senior volleyball and soccer teams and up until this year was a member of the school band for 5 years and the school choir for several years as well. I also participate in the annual walk a thon and volunteer at the school breakfast program as well was a participant in the young women’s Techsploration program. This year I balanced the challenge of academics, athletics, piano lessons and two demanding swimming courses. I am a hard worker and have a very positive attitude towards school and community and have demonstrated this through canvassing for the diabetes association and volunteering as lifeguard at the annual triathalon I hope to attend St. F.X. University and study a bachelor of science in nursing. |

How Tall Before They Fall?

I applied forces to three building structures using motion sensors to pick up the movement of the buildings. By applying forces to the building I monitored the vibrations to see which building could withstand the force the best. |
