| I go by Abby although my legal name is Abigail and I am the oldest of three girls. In my spare time I take pleasure in spending time with a few good friends or hanging out with a best friend. I also enjoy spending time outdoors. I play on various sports teams including basketball, volleyball and cross country. I play on three different basketball teams; the school basketball team, East Saint John Minor Basketball Association (ESJMBA) and a Saint John “Spring League”. I am also part of the school’s girls volleyball team and was a member of the cross country team. When I attended Loch Lomond Elementary School I received the “Student of the Year” award for highest academics. I also won the Oratorical award in grade four (there were no speeches in grade five because of the strike). After high school my post-secondary plans include oncology. I have been interested in this subject since the beginning of middle school and this interest had continued grow as members of my local church have been diagnosed with this horrible disease. |

Plants were grown in 5 various combinations of polymer and soil. Water provision was discontinued after a height of ten centimetres. The days they survived were documented. Plants in polymer withstood lack of water 5 times longer than plants in soil; 45 days. |
