I love to engage in volunteer work and thus have accumulated many on-going volunteer jobs over the past 3 years; most notably, assistant-coaching a Special Olympics alpine ski team, as well as being a Junior Ski Patrol with the Canadian Ski Patrol System for the past two years. I have a deep passion for the environment, coupled with a love of nature; hiking, biking and skiing are just some of the activities that I frequently enjoy. In the future, I hope to combine these interests with a career in ecology, in addition to performing humanitarian work. |

Water samples were collected at the headwaters and after a major city along both rivers and analyzed to determine if the concentrations obtained were enough to pose health risks for humans and organisms alike. |
