Biography
I am 15 years old and come from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. I am currently in Grade 9 at Kings Edgehill School in Windsor, Nova Scotia, which is Canada’s oldest independent school. I am very athletic and played on the Senior High hockey team in Bridgewater last year while only in Grade 8. This year I focused on skiing, soccer and badminton, and enjoy playing recreational rugby. I have been on The Headmasters Honour Roll all year and really enjoy all of my courses, but most particularly Science, Mathematics, Geography and French. I intend to pursue the IB Diploma program through high school with the intent of going to University to obtain Doctorate in Neuroscience. At my Regional Science Fair I received the Gold Medallion in Physical Science, The NS Institute of Science Award, the Service Master Best Physical Science Project trophy and plaque and a opportunity to attend the Canada Wide Science Fair.

Division:International / None
Category:Intermediate
Region:Annapolis Valley

School:King's-Edgehill School
Abstract:Chaos Theory – a sensitive dependence on initial conditions. Chaos Theory suggests the inability to accurately predict future outcomes when the state of present conditions cannot be precisely and accurately determined. This report includes both physical and mathematical experiments which resulted in non predictable outcomes, including ones in which the initial conditions were constant!
