Region:Simcoe County
City:Egbert, ON
School:Bear Creek S.S.
Abstract:The purpose of my project is to eliminate the free chlorine radicals in the ozone layer that break off from CFCs released into the atmosphere. My theory is that by injecting sodium metal into the ozone layer the sodium will react with the chlorine forming stable sodium chloride. This would prevent the chlorine radicals from continuing to destroy ozone molecules.
