Emergency Measures Access Plans; E-MAP
Challenge:Innovation
Category:Intermediate
Region:Strait
City:Guysborough, NS
School:Chedabucto Education Centre-Guysborough Academy
Abstract:I developed two computer programs as well as a search-able database that would allow the public to upload their building floor plans, so Emergency Measures Organizations could access this key information, making them better prepared and more efficient in an emergency situation. Seconds count in an emergency situation, and just knowing several crucial details about the building could save valuable time, and quite possibly lives.
