Biography
Whitney Anderson is a grade nine student who currently attends Westside Academy. Born and raised in Prince George B.C., she grew up with her two sisters and her mom and dad. She loves to play soccer and is a member of the P.G.Y.S.A. Timberwolves select team. She also plays in the Whitecaps soccer academy. In addition to these two teams she is a member of her school soccer program. Playing the French horn, she is an active member of the Westside Academy concert band. She loves math and is an honor roll student. Whitney hopes to one day become involved in animal research and hopes to receive her post secondary education from the University of Northern British Columbia. Whitney loves to play with her dog, Dodge. In her spare time Whitney tutors a younger student at Westside Academy. The inspiration for Whitney's project came from her love of technology and her desire to make the community a safer place. Eventually, she wishes to team up with ICBC and the RCMP and have the program she built enforced. This would help to create a safer driving experience for younger drivers and the people around them.
