| Hello! My name is Daniel Jackett. I am 13 years old and live in the country near Fenelon Falls, Ontario with my parents, older brother and 13 yr old Jack Russell Terrier named “Digger”. Apart from Summer, I live a pretty routine life with lots of homework at night. “Fun” for me includes mountain biking, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and making movies. I play drums in our church band and go to youth group Friday nights. During the Summer, I work part time in construction bricking driveways, installing sprinklers, or helping with shoreline work.. Mountain bike racing starts in May and I go every Thursday evening. I’ve been in an 8-hour relay and look forward to more. I can also be seen riding a unicycle! I always have new plans I wish to accomplish that may or may not happen. One dream I have is to live in B.C. in the Rocky Mountains where I could bike and snowboard and make videos of those sports and turn my little film company into a full-time business. |

Be Alarmed

I created a non-intermittent alarm sound using different voices, sounds and pitches and compared the time required to wake people to a regular alarm versus my alarm sound. My sound woke more people and more people faster than a regular alarm. |
