Biography
I am a grade nine student from Hanna, Alberta. I live on a small ranch with my parents and three siblings (two sisters and a brother). My hobbies include horseback riding (English and Western), dancing, reading, and shopping! I love animals and own a quarter horse, cat and Chihuahua (whom I enjoy shopping for). I have been involved in 4 – H for the past six years with lamb, steer and horse projects. I enjoy public speaking and have attended many competitions at the district and regional level. At school, I volunteer as a tutor for grade four students with learning disabilities. I am a frequent volunteer for various causes in our community, including Ducks Unlimited, Breast Cancer Research and our local SPCA. Upon completion of high school, I hope to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology. Last year, I had the opportunity to compete as a CWSF finalist in Saguenay, Quebec. I was thrilled to win a gold medal in automotive and an honorable mention in engineering.
